Our Vision

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we see”. I have accidently come across this quote from Mother Teresa.  But it essentially sums up our motivation behind to register the Society “Travancore Wellness Research Society”– to give something back to the society which helped you all the way in your life.

Apart from promoting knowledge and awareness about non-communicable diseases like diabetes and obesity among the medical fraternity and public, some of the primary goals of this society include,

1. Improve the health and well-being of the citizens.
2. To campaign for public health causes of national importance.
3. To improve the awareness about of healthy and hygienic lifestyle, to encourage healthy habits, to enhance the awareness about mental health and wellbeing and to promote harmonious living are some of the activities the society is intended to engage with on a priority basis.
4. To focus on the health and wellbeing of children and adolescents and help them to stay focused in their academics without falling prey to addictions and habits.
5. To help and support children from the marginalized communities in their education.
6. To help the most vulnerable and weaker sections of the society.

We are intended to work towards achieving our goal by strictly adhering to the norms and guidelines stipulated by the concerned authorities. All money transactions of the society will be binding to and abide by the appropriate provision of the IT act.

I wish all the office bearers of the society best of luck to work hard and focused to achieve stated goals.
